Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
TravelWake keeps non-essential tracking off by default. This page explains the small number of cookies and similar tools that may be used, what they do, and how to control them without losing access to the core site.
If you want the broader data-handling picture, read the Privacy Policy.
Optional analytics are denied until you opt in.
You can change your choice at any time from the footer.

What TravelWake uses
Consent preference cookie
TravelWake stores one first-party preference so the site remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. That keeps the experience stable and avoids repetitive prompts.
Google Analytics cookies
When you opt in, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and related identifiers to measure visits, popular content, device types, and performance trends. They are not set before consent.
Why these tools exist
The consent preference keeps your choice in place. Optional analytics help us understand whether pages are useful, where readers drop off, and which travel topics deserve more editorial attention.
We do not use cookies on TravelWake for advertising personalisation, retargeting audiences, or selling behavioural data.
Cloudflare and external platforms
Because TravelWake is delivered through Cloudflare, that service may set strictly necessary security or performance cookies when required to protect the site or route traffic reliably.
If you leave TravelWake for external services such as Instagram, YouTube, or X, those services can set their own cookies under their own policies once you interact with them.
Manage your choices
You can revisit your decision whenever you like. Choosing "Necessary only" keeps optional analytics off. Choosing "Allow analytics" enables aggregate reporting in a privacy-restrained mode.
